The NGO Academy for Heroes unlocks new opportunities in IT and MilTech

The NGO Academy for Heroes, together with the Lviv IT Cluster, is opening applications for veterans to join two modern training programs: “Embedded C++ Development” and “JavaScript Test Automation.” This is an opportunity to gain skills for a promising IT career free of charge, develop practical expertise, and embark on a new professional journey in the technology sector.

•  “Embedded C++ Development” (MilTech) is a course for those who want to work at the intersection of programming, electronics, and defense technologies. Participants will learn C++, work with microcontrollers, sensors, and embedded systems, and explore drone programming. The course includes practical assignments designed to reflect the real-world needs of the MilTech industry.

• “JavaScript Test Automation” (QA Automation) is a program for those who want to learn how to ensure software quality and automate testing processes. Participants will master JavaScript, TypeScript, Playwright, web application and API testing, as well as the use of modern AI tools.

Training starts in December 2026.

Both programs last 8 months and include in-person classes in Lviv (Yevhena Petrushevycha Square, 3) twice a week from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM.

The training is free of charge and suitable for beginners. In addition to technical skills, participants will improve their English and soft skills, work on practical projects, and gain access to internship opportunities and career support.
