“The first half of 2026 shows that the Ukrainian IT industry keeps demonstrating resilience despite challenging operating conditions and global economic uncertainty. After the seasonal decline at the start of the year, exports gradually stabilized, holding around $1.7 billion in Q2. This reflects the ability of tech companies to adapt to change, sustain international cooperation, and remain competitive in the global market.
At the same time, holding current positions is not enough today – for further development, it’s important to work on scaling, creating high-value-added products, and seeking new growth opportunities. Hence, understanding current trends and regularly analyzing the state of the industry remain important for making strategic decisions. Lviv IT Cluster is currently collecting data for IT Research Ukraine 2026, which will help form an up-to-date picture of the technology industry’s development and identify key trends. We encourage everyone to take part,” says Yaryna Voznyak, Lead of Research Department at Lviv IT Cluster.
