Ukrainian Startups Taking Over CES 2019

The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019 started in Las Vegas on January 8. Annually, Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF), Concepter, and UVCA support the Ukrainian pavilion at CES. This year, they selected six companies that are currently representing Ukraine’s tech in Las Vegas – among them IT Arena Startup Competition finalist – Funlight. Let’s find out what products are now on display at the world’s biggest gathering of consumer technologies.

Funlight – a Ukrainian startup, which provides a 15-minute virtual reality trip, where you can immerse yourself in the world of imagination. Customers can choose one from different scenarios and become a part of an augmented game without any VR headsets.Сurrently this interactive adventure is only available at Lavina Mall in Kyiv.

Moreover, Rawr makes sure your pet is safe and healthy – it monitors the pet’s activity, sets activity goals, etc. Rawr has temperature and water sensors that will notify you if the pet is too hot or too cold.

You can use a regular pen for writing, splash it with a hand sanitizer and erase everything. The pencil that comes with the notebook doesn’t require sharpening or lead refill, and can easily be attached to the notebook with the help of an in-built magnet. What makes Nuka even more impressive is its team of three creators who are just 16 years old!
