Uptech — a New Member of Lviv IT Cluster

Uptech is a Ukrainian-based software development company with a main office in Kyiv, Ukraine. The company provides mobile and web development, UX/UI design, and product research services from up-and-coming startups to global Fortune 500 companies from the USA and Europe.

The company was founded in 2016 by friends Andrii Bas and Dmytro Kovalenko, inspired by an idea to create a working environment of freedom and responsibility, professional growth, and an enjoyable atmosphere with a unique people-oriented culture and values!

So far, Uptech has 150+ successful projects for clients around the globe, including the award-winning Dollar-Shave Club. Samely, in our R&D department, we have launched 7 successful products, for example Plai, Sommo, Dyvo, and Rozmova.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Uptech has focused all its efforts on supporting the army, Ukrainians affected by the war, and, of course, its employees and their families.

The company provides financial support to the army and has donated over 10,000,000 UAH to funds such as “Come Back Alive”, “KOLO”, and the “Serhiy Prytula Foundation”. 1,000,000 UAH was transferred to support and rebuild the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital.

Uptech also supports employee initiatives, including volunteering, fundraising, and helping purchase vehicles, radios, heaters, and other essential items for the military.

The company participates in volunteer initiatives every month. In August, it joined the nationwide charity project “School Backpack”, held before September 1st to ensure that Ukrainian children in difficult circumstances — such as those from large families and internally displaced households — are provided with essential school supplies. Together with the team, they assembled backpacks for 1st—and 2nd-grade children.

Uptech continues to support the national economy by creating jobs, paying taxes, and making donations. The company’s stance is to remain resilient, stand for freedom, and take action.
