Lviv IT community supports the city and the region in the fight against COVID-19 not only financially but also with their experience and expertise. As part of the United for health charity initiative, member-companies of Lviv IT Cluster developed an interactive map that tracks coronavirus spread in Lviv and Lviv region and a chatbot for medical practitioners.
Within the frames of the United for health project, the IT community has raised 7 million UAH for express COVID-19 tests. Lviv IT Cluster launched mass testing of the population three weeks ago, and as of Friday, April 17, 17.364 residents of Lviv and Lviv region were tested.
In addition, Lviv IT Cluster companies determined to help combat coronavirus using their expertise. N-iX developed an interactive map of coronavirus spread in Lviv and the region. The map shows the critical areas where the virus is spread, which can be constantly monitored. The map informs residents of Lviv and the region about the spread of the disease to prevent the formation of epidemiological clusters. The company is developing advanced functionality for emergency operation centers, which will allow rapid response to virus clusters.
Chatbots.Studio created a Viber chatbot for medical staff to track the results of mass testing. The chatbot is currently being tested and will become available to doctors who are testing potentially infected individuals shortly. The chatbot will collect the data obtained during testing and the database of the tested individuals will be available to the city administration. The city and regional administrations have received the chatbot, with the implementation stage to follow.
