Customertimes has presented its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report 2023. The report highlights the company’s responsibility to clients and business, employees and their families, the IT community, and Ukrainian society at large. Feel free to explore the various projects and their outcomes in the Customertimes CSR Report 2023.
Customertimes has been actively supporting Ukraine since the beginning of the war. In March 2022, IT specialists created the “The Give Back to Ukraine” fund to help those affected by the conflict. Through a robust volunteer movement among colleagues, Customertimes has been able to provide targeted assistance from the very beginning to those who defended the country or suffered due to the hostilities. Funds from the fund are primarily directed towards supporting CTzens’ volunteer initiatives — purchasing medicines, clothing, food, communication devices, transportation, and many other essential items. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the company has allocated over 12,6 million UAH and has no plans to stop.
Additionally, Customertimes lends support to Ukrainian charitable foundations, such as the “Shelter with Love” initiative developed by the Blagomai Foundation. The project aims to construct dozens of modular houses for Ukrainians who have lost their homes during the war. The majority of families resettled there have been forcibly displaced from Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, and other regions.
In terms of “Business” CSR initiatives, the company notes that in 2023, they obtained ISO 27001 certification. This is the international standard for information security. It sets out the specification for an effective Information Security Management system. The certification confirms that Customertimes is committed to enhancing the quality of their services through continuous improvement, ensuring that qualified professionals handle all data and meets all security requirements.
The report also includes a series of educational initiatives. For instance, Customertimes funded online training for 50+ Ukrainians affected by the war. Enrolling in the “Fullstack Developer from Scratch” course at GoIT School, they acquired a new profession with the assistance of Customertimes. Among the students were Ukrainians who had left their homes in Mariupol, Severodonetsk, Bakhmut, Kherson, and other places. In February 2023, the students successfully completed the course and secured their first jobs in IT.
“At Customertimes, we believe the power of technology can shape a better world. This CSR report underscores our commitment to being a positive force for good with a particular focus on our five core areas of focus: empowering people, helping communities, supporting Ukraine, conducting responsible business, and providing education. While we are proud to share the milestones we’ve achieved thus far, we recognize that our journey has just begun. Our goal is to be a purpose-driven company, leading with an unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the communities we serve and supporting the sustainable practices of our customers. Together, we can fuel the world for the better”, emphasizes Dimitri Sidney, CEO and Co-Founder of Customertimes.
