ELEKS Hosts Business Analysis Internship for Students

ELEKS conducted a six-week Business Analysis internship program. Fifteen students formed five teams, mentored by ELEKS professionals.

Taras Zakharkiv, Head of Business Analysis Office at ELEKS, expressed her excitement about this groundbreaking internship program:

“The Business Analysis Office at ELEKS created and in cooperation with ELEKS University executed a unique summer internship program in business analysis. This course offered attendees (UCU, LPNU, and IT Step University students) within 6 weeks a comprehensive and hands-on experience for ambitious entry-level business analysts. This program was designed to provide participants with practical insights into the field of business analysis through real-world projects, collaborative group work, and mentorship from experienced professionals. The program emphasizes the application of business analysis techniques in a supportive learning environment.”  

One of the key aspects that contributed to the internship program’s success was the mentors’ commitment and dedication. Sofia Ogurchak, Education Coordinator at ELEKS, emphasized the importance of teamwork, flexibility, and the willingness to adapt to tight deadlines and unexpected challenges. She stated:

“The level and quality of work demonstrated by the students during the session are inspiring, as well as the fantastic synergistic collaboration between mentors and participants. Behind every detail of organizing this internship lies a significant amount of effort that we put into this activity, so I am incredibly pleased that we managed to bring our idea to life.”  

The mentors themselves shared their valuable experiences and insights into working with the students. Yevhen Prysiazhnyi, Solution Business Analyst, shared:

“Being a mentor for ELEKS BA Internship program gave me the unique opportunity to check and systemize my knowledge about business analysis. Seeing that your expertise and advice can help students in their career path gives you a feeling of fulfilment and satisfaction.”  

Iuliia Skorobogata, System Business Analyst, found the experience rewarding, stating:

“Being a mentor was challenging for me, as I was trying to balance out sharing my practical experience with inspiration in the business analysis field. My team was mature and took on the tasks as real professionals.”  

Oksana Butsko-Stebelska, System Business Analyst, added:

“It was a great pleasure to be part of the internship program my ELEKS colleagues organized. So many bright and clever students that are eager to learn.”  

Oksana Tomiak, Solution Business Analyst, shared:

“Internships for students are a fantastic opportunity to transfer practical skills and experience. I am glad young professionals can start their careers with practical experience.”  

Yaryna Demkiv, System Business Analyst, expressed:

“Working with bright, open-minded, and proactive students was very inspiring. It was great to see how our discussions turned into product-oriented results from one hand. And on the other hand, it was a useful exercise for me – putting together knowledge from different projects to share.”  

The ELEKS Business Analysis internship program enriched the students with practical knowledge and experience and fostered a strong sense of collaboration and mentorship within the organization.
