The Founders’ Dialogue program offers an updated list of mentors. The project brings together founders and CEOs of companies from the Lviv IT Cluster fostering knowledge exchange and networking among companies of different sizes, and nurturing a culture of mentorship within the community.
The idea for Founders’ Dialogue emerged during the Lviv IT Cluster Strategy Session in 2023. Participants proposed the launch of mentoring sessions where founders and business leaders could share their experiences in scaling, crisis management, niche discovery, and more in a 1-on-1 format. Responding to the needs of our members, we created Founders’ Dialogue.
Only representatives of Lviv IT Cluster member companies can join the program, namely:
The mentorship program will provide company executives with the opportunity to discuss all components of successful business, such as management, marketing and sales, resilience, regulatory aspects, finance, investments, capital, etc.
Top managers will have the opportunity to participate in sessions with inspiring leaders and can also serve as mentors for colleagues from other companies. Among the mentors will be:
The full list of mentors can be found on the project’s page.
Mentoring sessions serve as the currency in Founders’ Dialogue. When booking a mentoring session for the first time, a participant from a company with up to 100 employees earns 2 points, and a participant from a company with more than 100 employees earns 5 points. To book a meeting as a mentee, you must have at least 2 points in your account, and to meet with the CEO of a large company (100+ employees), you need 5 points.
You can also get a session by purchasing points through donation or by sharing a story that may be useful to other executives.
“The Founders’ Dialogue program primarily facilitates knowledge exchange, allowing participants to discuss problems and explore potential solutions with individuals who have already experienced similar challenges. A significant advantage of the program is that managers from companies of various sizes can participate. For instance, the CEO of an early-stage company can talk to a manager of a company that is steadily scaling, and compare approaches. The program facilitates expanding business networks and creating new partnerships. Participants can initiate joint projects and share their contacts. Founders’ Dialogue contributes to the synergy among entrepreneurs and the development of Ukrainian busines,” comments Stepan Veselovskyi, CEO of the Lviv IT Cluster.
Founders’ Dialogue adds value to both mentees and mentors. Mentees can acquire fresh ideas for developing or scaling their companies, particularly beneficial when entering a new niche or introducing a new product. In challenging situations, when a manager feels burned out or loses direction, a mentor can offer valuable advice. Additionally, mentors can assist in identifying the hard and soft skills in management needed to achieve goals.
The value for mentors lies in their ability to gain niche expertise from mentee companies and explore new potential partnerships. Additionally, participating as a mentor can positively impact the reputation of an executive and their company’s brand in the market, while also allowing them to stay informed about industry trends.
