Lviv IT Cluster continues the online version of the IT Future project. Last semester, the project went online under the Next Generation’s name and covered 15 webinars on IT topics. This semester, the project has started again. Let’s take a look at the webinars that will take place next.
IT Future: Next Generation is a series of educational webinars and practical classes conducted by leading IT experts for school students of 9-11 grades and informatics teachers. Webinars take place twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 pm. Last semester, more than 5,000 people participated in 15 webinars.
Lviv IT Cluster continues to promote IT and introduce everyone to current professions in this field. On Tuesdays, we talk about sought-after professional areas in IT, and the Thursdays’ webinars are aimed at helping students better understand the informatics classes.
Webinars take place on our YouTube channel. They are free and open to anyone interested in the topic of IT.
On October 13, the first webinar of this semester “Types of QA: Manual and Automated Testing” was conducted by Stepan Shykerynets, Senior QA Engineer. The webinar covered the history of testing, types of testing, and testing processes. In this webinar, students learned about the role of testing in software development. Besides, Members learned who is the most crucial person in the company, who you are going to meet when first you start working, how to determine whether a particular profession/position is right for you or not, and how to find the perfect employee.
