IT Research: Salary Report – Lviv IT Cluster explores salary trends in the Ukrainian tech market

IT Research: Salary Report is a unique comprehensive study by the Lviv IT Cluster. The team analyzes anonymized data provided by leading tech companies representing various business models and sizes. This will allow report owners to more accurately compare their company’s salary policies with companies in the same segment.

Unlike most salary surveys, which are usually released once a year, the Lviv IT Cluster’s team prepares the IT Research: Salary Report every six months. This allows companies to receive updated information throughout the year after the salary review of the market. In addition, the Lviv IT Cluster managed to develop a mechanism that enables project participants to optimize waiting time from the moment of data collection to report generation to two months. As a result, the research represents the most up-to-date information on the Ukrainian market. 

The report is presented in a convenient format with interactive dashboards, and the results of calculations can be copied. A significant number of additional filters allow you to refine your query and focus on the desired parameters. After filtering, you will also receive descriptive profiles that contain information about the age distribution, gender, and type of cooperation with the company (Individual Entrepreneur or hired employee). Most salary surveys only allow filtering data for Developer/Software Engineer by specialization or by technology. The IT Research: Salary Report team took this aspect into account and introduced an option that allows you to choose both filters. In addition, there is also a breakdown for Project and Product Managers: the report includes data on compensation for specialists with technical background or without it. Compensation statistics are presented in both Gross and Net.
