Knopka is an innovative notification system for medical institutions, specially designed to automate the work of medical personnel and ensure timely assistance.
The idea of creating Knopka emerged from Ivan Osadchy, CEO of the company, after his experience caring for his grandmother in a hospital in 2018. Ivan noticed how much effort medical staff put into communicating with each other and patients, which became a problem in critical patient conditions.
Founded in 2019 by six Ukrainian entrepreneurs, Knopka quickly gained popularity both in the domestic and external markets due to its innovative approach and ease of implementation.
Currently, Knopka is successfully operating in more than 20 hospitals, with a team of over 20 professionals. Recently, the system was implemented in the emergency departments of the Yuri Semenyuk Rivne Clinical Hospital and the Regional Medical Center for Family Health of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, as well as in the CNE “Lviv Regional Hospital of War Veterans and Repressed U. Lipi”.
In 2022, the startup was awarded the silver prize at the IT Arena Startup Competition. Ivan Osadchy, the founder and CEO of Knopka, emphasized ambitious plans for the further development and expansion of the company. Additionally, the startup was part of the Ukrainian delegation at the CES 2023 exhibition in Las Vegas.
“Joining the Lviv IT Cluster will open up new opportunities for cooperation and joint development, contributing to further innovative expansion in the field of medical technologies,” emphasized Ivan Osadchy, CEO of Knopka.
This year, Knopka will present its solution at the world’s largest medical exhibition, Medica (Germany), and at the international conference, Slush (Finland).
“I am glad that Knopka is now in the Cluster community. It is a motivating example of how participation in the Startup Competition can be an impetus for development and scaling. From a startup at IT Arena to a prominent market player and a member of Ukraine’s largest tech company community, it is a path and experience that will interest others. I look forward to further cooperation,” adds Stepan Veselovsky, CEO of Lviv IT Cluster.
