The Ukrainian IT company TechMagic launched the GoAskMe charity project, which aimed to provide career advice in exchange for a donation to the Armed Forces.
The company launched this project during the war. Since the first days of the full-scale invasion, TechMagic volunteering has grown significantly and is now one of the main priorities. The company regularly donates to the Armed Forces (the amount of donations exceeds 3.2 million UAH), purchased and transferred 5 AUTEL drones to the front, and allocated $21k for the purchase of three cars for the Armed Forces.
“We see the impact of the war on the employment situation – many specialists lost their jobs due to the reduction of projects or companies. And the number of vacancies on the market has significantly decreased. Candidates need professional advice, and we have deep recruiting expertise to share. This is how the idea of creating a social recruiting project came about. During the discussion, our team unanimously agreed that the priority is to help the Armed Forces, because it is thanks to their work that we are able to live and work in peaceful cities,” comments Head of Recruitment department Halyna Dragan.
This is a win-win project, which is not only about career, but also about socially important values. The TechMagic team shares expertise, helps those who want to boost their careers, and donates to our army.
The GoAskMe team works with the following requests:
- Career counseling of IT specialists
