Lviv IT Cluster Reaches Finals for European Digital Innovation Hubs Network

Lviv IT Cluster has made it to the top fifteen finalists who have the opportunity to join the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) network under the EU-funded Digital Europe Programme.

The main goal of EDIH is to promote technologies and innovations and carry out extensive digital transformations to develop small and medium-sized businesses. The network already brings together 228 innovative hubs across Europe, actively collaborating, implementing joint projects, and sharing experiences.

In its role as a digital hub, Lviv IT Cluster, as the largest association of technology companies in Ukraine, will promote the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as government institutions, to foster innovation, improve business conditions, and enhance the competitiveness of Ukrainian companies in global markets. 

As a hub, the Lviv IT Cluster will work in artificial intelligence, machine learning, VR and AR, robotics, radioelectronics, and digital education.

Currently, the Lviv IT Cluster is preparing its application for participation in the second stage of the competition. The winners will be announced this summer. They will receive a grant to implement their projects. The total budget for supporting hubs in Ukraine under the EU’s participation in the competition is €4.5 million.

The competition is being held as part of the EU-funded Digital Europe Programme, implemented in Ukraine by the Ministry of Digital Transformation with the support of The Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office and the GIZ Ukraine program “Digital Transformation of SMEs in the Eastern Partnership countries” funded by the German Government.
