Lviv IT Cluster to Host the IT Future Conf Career Guidance Conference for the Second Time

IT Future Conf 2023 is a two-day online conference for high school students, computer science teachers, and anyone interested in learning more about the tech industry and the best institutions to pursue a tech degree. The event will be held as part of the IT Future – a career guidance project of the Lviv IT Cluster.

According to the surveys conducted by Lviv IT Cluster, 79% of high school students do not know which specialty to choose, while 66% of teenagers dream of working in the tech field. IT Future Conf 2023 will help determine the future profession and provide information on where to obtain a modern tech education in Ukraine.

Participants can expect a giveaway, with the main prize being a MacBook Air M1, 10 hours of exciting lectures from top industry speakers, and interactive sessions involving teenagers with tech experience. A 9th-grade student Artem Kurtiak who has successfully combined work and education as a back-end developer for the past two years, will share his experience.

The speakers at IT Future Conf 2023 are professionals in the industry who will share the secrets of successful work in the tech field, answer all questions, and, most importantly, tell how to turn the dream of a career in tech into reality.

Among the speakers: 

• Kateryna Ivanova, Learning & Development Manager at Brainstack_, will talk about how to start your path in tech. 
• Roman Kuzio, Frontend Ambassador at Linkup Studio, will reveal all the secrets of Software Engineering and why it’s not just about code.

The event will take place on May 5-6 in a hybrid format. Offline spots will be given to lucky participants of our giveaway on the lviv_it_future page. Online participation is open to everyone from around Ukraine and the world. Participation is free, but prior registration via the link is required.
